How long does it take to get started?
Most teams import employees, set working-time rules and run their first tracked week within a day. Guided onboarding is included on Enterprise.
Does TimeTK work for remote and field employees?
Yes. Employees can clock in from any phone browser, and managers see remote status alongside on-site attendance. Location capture is optional, off by default, and only ever recorded at an explicit clock action.
Can employees see their own hours and balances?
Always. Every employee sees their tracked hours, overtime balance, schedule and leave. Transparency is the point, not surveillance.
How does payroll export work?
Close a period into an immutable snapshot and export from it as CSV, Excel or PDF, or pull it through the API. BMD and DATEV exports emit provider-style files with configurable wage-type codes — validate the exact layout with your payroll provider before the first production import.
Where is our data held?
On European infrastructure, in Germany. Traffic is encrypted in transit over HTTPS, passwords are stored only as a hash, and access is controlled by the roles and permissions you define. Attendance events and audit entries are append-only.
